How does the stock exhaust sound on a 14 f150?

so, i just got a 2014 f150 a few months ago and was curious about the stock exhaust. you know, like, how it sounds compared to my buddy’s tricked out one with the fancy pipes. the first time i fired it up, it kinda surprised me. it’s not super loud or anything, but it has that nice low rumble.

i remember driving it to work and someone asked if i had a performance exhaust. but nah, just the stock one doing its thing.

i’ve heard some people say it sounds like a vacuum cleaner, just not true. like, does it have the best sound? no, but it’s not bad for a truck. anyone else have thoughts on it? do you think i should keep it stock or get an upgrade?

I ve got a 14 F150 and honestly the stock exhaust is kinda quiet

Driving through the streets of Toronto I thought maybe I needed something louder but it fits for daily driving

You can hardly hear it when cruising but it has a nice growl when you really step on it

Not bad for a stock setup

i ve heard it around town in Texas and honestly it sounds kinda bland nothing special just a typical truck sound you hear everywhere kinda forgettable really

also noticed some guys love it but I don’t get what’s hype about it guess sound is subjective huh

I remember when I got my 14 F150 up in Minnesota.

The stock exhaust doesn’t really turn heads but it has this low rumble that feels solid when you’re cruising.

Not super loud but enough to know you’re driving something meaty.

Just a steady growl you know nothing crazy but sometimes that’s nice too.

riding in my buddy’s 14 F150 down in Texas I’ve gotta say the stock exhaust is just okay it has a nice deep tone but nothing too crazy feels like it fits the truck but it doesnt really turn heads or anything I mean if you want that growl you’ll need to upgrade or add a muffler or something but its not bad for daily driving I guess

I’ve gotta say the stock exhaust on a 14 F150 isn’t gonna turn heads or wake the neighbors it’s pretty subdued

I was driving mine down to the coast last summer and I hardly noticed it I mean if you’re looking for that deep growl you might be a bit disappointed but it does the job for cruising around town

I’ve had my 14 F150 for a while now and honestly I think the stock exhaust sounds pretty solid.

Driving through the mountains in Colorado the growl when you hit the gas just feels right.

I’ve heard mixed reviews though some folks think it’s too quiet for a truck.

But for me it’s just enough without waking up the entire neighborhood.

I have a 14 F150 and the stock exhaust is kinda boring honestly I mean it sounds okay but nothing to brag about if you want that growl you gotta upgrade.

I’ve driven my buddy’s who has one too and man his aftermarket setup sounds way better just a truck should roar a bit right.

I’ve got a 2014 F150 and the stock exhaust sounds pretty dull honestly. I was cruising around in Florida and it’s like it’s trying to hide.

Could definitely use some more growl for sure.

I remember when I got my 14 F150 in Texas. Pure power felt great. The stock exhaust is kinda quiet though like it doesn’t want to wake the neighbors or something.

I’ve seen others say it’s fine for daily driving but I wish it had a bit more growl honestly.

I had a 14 F150 last summer in Texas and the stock exhaust just felt kinda plain.

I ve heard some guys say it sounds beefy but honestly it didn’t do much for me.

Like it just rumbled a bit more than a washing machine. Could use a little more growl if you ask me.

I’ve got a 14 F150 and honestly the stock exhaust can be a bit underwhelming here in Texas. I mean it sounds alright but I was expecting more roar honestly. My buddy’s got a Flowmaster on his and wow what a difference.

Ive got a 14 F150 here in Texas and honestly the stock exhaust is pretty quiet.

Like driving around town you barely hear it.

I’ve heard some complain about it but for me its chill.

I think if you’re looking for a deep growl you might want to mod it a bit.

But hey if low key is your style then the stock sounds fine.

I have a 14 F150 and honestly the stock exhaust sounds kinda weak.

Driving through Calgary it feels like a little mouse when I rev it up.

I ve heard better sounds from lawnmowers.

Maybe I just expected more from a truck ya know?

Not bad but definitely not great.
