How does the f150 miles per gallon 2023 compare to previous years?
so last summer, I took my 2021 F150 on a road trip. I was stoked about the mpg, but like, it wasn’t great. I think I was getting around 17. So, I decided to check out the 2023 model, hoping for a miracle. heard they made some changes, but was it really worth it?
I found out the 2023 version. It’s said to get around 20 mpg, which is not like, a mind-blowing jump, but better for sure. And honestly, when you’re driving hours on the highway, even a couple more mpg feels like a win.
but then, I asked myself - is it just me, or does everyone forget about how much gas costs these days? like, who even knows what’s considered good mileage anymore?
I’ve been driving my 2020 F150 in Texas for years and I thought it was decent on gas. I checked out the 2023 model and wow it’s actually better with MPG numbers. Really surprising how they keep improving these trucks.
Some friends say they miss the raw power from older models but hey give me efficiency any day. Times are changing and I like it.
Ive been driving my 2020 F150 for years feels like gas guzzler compared to the 2023 models not impressed here in Ohio
I have a buddy in Texas he swears by the 2023 efficiency says he’s saving a ton on trips to the ranch
I’ve always loved my F150 down here in Texas and gotta say the '23 model feels a bit better on gas than my old '16.
Not a huge difference but it adds up on those long hauls.
Kinda makes me appreciate the recent upgrades to efficiency.
I’ve noticed the MPG on my 2023 F150 isn’t much better than my old 2018 one in California. Feels like they just rerun the same old engine.
I have to say though the power’s impressive but I wish they’d focus more on fuel efficiency. It’s like ordering a burger and getting just the bun.
I ve had my F150 since 2020 up here in Ontario and the mpg seems better this year
I always thought these trucks were gas hogs but this 2023 model really surprised me with its efficiency
Not a huge difference but enough to notice on weekend trips
Fuel prices really make you appreciate those extra miles.
I’ve noticed the 2023 F150 seems to sip gas less than the older models. Driving in Texas last month I averaged better than I expected.
I mean sure it’s still a truck so don’t expect magic but it’s nice to see some improvement over those thirsty past years.
I remember driving my 2020 F150 around Seattle and gettin like 18 MPG. But now the 2023 model is better but not by much. I ve seen some talk about improvements but not enough for me to ditch my older truck. Just feels like they’re playing with numbers.
It’s still a beast tho in all other ways.
Ive noticed the 2023 F150 hits a sweet spot for mpg compared to earlier models. Last summer in Oregon I was pleasantly surprised how far I went on a tank.
Older ones drank gas like crazy honestly so this is refreshing.
Lately I’ve noticed my neighbor’s 2023 F150 getting better mileage than my 2018 model. It’s kinda wild how far they’ve come with fuel efficiency. I drive a lot in Texas so every MPG counts.
I drove my buddy’s 2023 F150 in Texas last month and wow it feels like they finally got the MPG up compared to my old 2017 model.
I’ve also heard the new tech helps but honestly that 10 speed is sweet.
Still a truck so you ain’t getting like hybrid numbers but for a full-sized beast it ain’t too shabby at all.
Pretty impressed overall.
I have noticed that the 2023 F150 definitely feels more fuel efficient than my buddy’s 2020 model. Driving through Texas the other day I got surprisingly good mileage. Seems like a nice upgrade honestly.
I have a 2020 F150 and I remember how I was getting around 19 mpg on the highway. Just drove my buddies 2023 model recently and wow it’s better for sure like around 24. Pretty impressive especially in these times of high gas prices. Makes me consider upgrading soon.
I’ve been driving my 2020 F150 in Texas and the mileage was decent but I just got the 2023 model and wow it’s like a breath of fresh air
Feels like I’m saving more at the pump now
