How does driving style affect the camry mpg ratings?

so, i’ve been driving my camry for a while and noticed my mpg changes like crazy based on how i drive. if i’m chillin’ and just cruising, i can get like 35 mpg. but when i’m in a hurry, it drops to like 25 real quick. it’s wild how fast you can go through gas.

i remember one time, i was racing a buddy and my mpg tanked. like seriously, i thought i was going to have to sell a kidney to fill up. have you ever noticed that? driving like a maniac really eats up the fuel.

so yeah, i guess it’s all about how you drive.

I’ve noticed my Camry’s mpg gets wrecked when I’m in a hurry. Last summer driving through Oregon I was really pushing it got like 22 mpg instead of the 32 it’s supposed to get. Feels like every time I hit the gas it drinks more. Chill driving feels way better on gas.

Anyway smooth rides are where it’s at.

down here in Texas I ve noticed that heavy footed driving really slashes the mpg on my Camry like when I speed up too fast or brake hard it just kills the efficiency. I can get close to 35 mpg when I take it easy but wow it drops fast if I treat it like a race car. smooth and steady seems to be the secret I guess.

I ve noticed my Camry gets way better mpg when I chill on the gas pedal at least on those long stretches between Toronto and Ottawa. Hard accelerating kills that sweet efficiency.

But in city driving it’s a different story stop and go traffic makes it struggle a bit. Still love this car for road trips though.

Driving my Camry around Seattle I’ve noticed how different my mpg is based on how I’m feeling that day. If I take it easy I get pretty good mileage but when I’m in a hurry it drops like a rock. It’s wild how much driving style makes an impact on those numbers. Feels like tuning into my own driving rhythm.

I’ve noticed that driving like a grandma in my Camry gives way better mpg in California guess those stop signs add up.

I have a friend who floors it and gets terrible mileage probably not the best idea for a hybrid.

I’ve noticed that my Camry drinks gas like crazy when I speed around town in Toronto.

Driving like a maniac really kills the mpg

When I chill and just cruise it’s like night and day.

So yeah driving style totally matters.

I live in Ohio and I ve noticed that my driving style absolutely wrecks my Camry’s MPG sometimes. If I speed up too much or stomp on the gas my mileage goes down the drain. But when I chill out and drive easy I get way more miles it’s wild how just few habits can change everything.

I’ve noticed that my driving style really makes a difference here in Texas. Smooth driving boosts the Camry’s mpg big time even with all the highways.

I have friends who speed a lot and they complain about low mpg. Maybe chill driving is the secret sauce?

I ve driven my Camry for a few years now around Toronto and I noticed that smooth driving really helps with the mpg I mean lane changes and sudden stops just kill it.

I have a friend who floors it at every green light and his fuel gauge drops like a rock. It’s wild how a bit of restraint can save you some cash.

man driving my Camry around Seattle I noticed how I get way better mpg when I just chill and don’t stomp on the gas every second. usually I ve been trying to ease up on acceleration and it kinda makes a difference.

racing from light to light not so much fun though and I feel like I’d pay for it later with gas bills. just sayin.

I remember driving my Camry through the Rockies and my mpg dropped like crazy when I kept speeding. I’ve seen it go up so much on those long stretches though when I just cruise. Such a difference.
