so, I’ve had both OEM spark plugs and AutoZone ones in my Honda Civic. Honestly, they both did the job, but with some differences.
the OEM plugs felt smoother, like my ride was gliding. But when I tried AutoZone, it was kinda like driving on a bumpy road. It’s funny how a small part can change things so much, right?
And then there’s the price. OEM costs more but last longer. Is it worth it though?
i guess it depends on how much you want your car to purr rather than sputter. What’s your take on this?
I’ve swapped my Honda’s OEM plugs for AutoZone ones a while back in California and honestly didn’t notice a huge difference. They were cheaper and got the job done but OEM might last longer. I have friends in Toronto who swear by OEM. It’s interesting how opinions differ on this. I guess it depends on what you value more
I ve tried both in my 02 Civic and honestly the OEM plugs made a noticeable difference in performance but the AutoZone ones weren’t terrible either. I think it just depends on how you drive. In the end I feel like sticking to OEM is safer.
I’ve always gone with OEM spark plugs for my Civic in Chicago and they keep my engine running smooth. AutoZone plugs felt cheap in comparison.
I ve used OEM plugs before and honestly they feel more reliable than those AutoZone ones for my Civic in Ohio
AutoZone plugs just didn’t last as long for me
I ve always used OEM spark plugs for my Honda Civic living in Seattle and they’ve never failed me.
AutoZone plugs might be cheaper but I have heard mixed reviews.
Some say they work fine but I’ve seen my friends struggle with misfires after switching. OEM just fits well and lasts longer in my experience less hassle overall.
But then again everyone’s car is different so who knows.
I’ve always used OEM plugs in my Civic here in Indiana and I gotta say the performance is solid. Once I tried some AutoZone plugs just to save a few bucks and honestly it felt off. The engine wasn’t as smooth. I get it though not everyone has to spend on OEM but for me it’s worth it for peace of mind.
I ve always stuck with OEM spark plugs for my Civic in California they just seem to keep it running smoothly. AutoZone plugs? I don’t know they might be hit or miss.
Last time I used AutoZone stuff it didn’t feel right engine was kinda sluggish. OEM feels like a safe bet every time.
I’ve used both and honestly I have to say the OEM ones just feel better in my system. They fit like a glove.
AutoZone plugs are decent but something about the OEM feels more reliable here in California. Just my two cents.
I ve always gone with OEM plugs for my Civic since I got it in California they just seem more reliable to me plus no misfires or weird runs
AutoZone plugs are ok but sometimes I feel like you get what you pay for maybe its just me but I trust the factory ones a bit more
I ve always gone with OEM spark plugs for my Civic in California and I have to say the performance is solid. I tried AutoZone plugs once and it felt like my car was dragging. Stick with what the manufacturer recommends for best results.
I’ve used both in my Honda Civic and honestly felt a difference with OEM. AutoZone plugs were okay but OEM just feels right ya know.
I ve always gone for OEM spark plugs on my Honda Civic even though I live in Canada. There’s just this peace of mind knowing they’re designed specifically for my car.
AutoZone plugs can be tempting with the lower price but I’ve had some friends say they didn’t get the same performance. It’s like playing a lottery sometimes. Just worth the extra few bucks.
I ve used OEM plugs in my Civic before and they really do last longer. I remember driving through the Rockies in Colorado and they never gave me a hiccup.
But I tried AutoZone plugs once when I was in a rush and honestly it felt like I was dragging a bag of bricks behind me. Not great for performance.
Just my experience but I think I ll stick with OEM for now.
I’ve tried both OEM and AutoZone plugs in my 2017 Civic down in California. Honestly I ve seen mixed results. OEMs feel smoother but the AutoZone ones were cheaper. I guess it depends on how you drive. Noticed better mileage with the original ones tho. Just my two cents.
