How do lowering springs affect the ride of a 2016 civic ext?

so, lowering springs on the 2016 civic ext? let me tell ya, it’s a mixed bag. i put some on mine and, man, the ride got way stiffer. like, you feel every little bump in the road, which is fun if you’re into that kinda thing. but my back started to hate me on long drives.

But, the handling is way better, especially around corners. it almost feels like a go-kart. have you noticed that too? just be careful over potholes, or you’ll think your car’s got a bad back. kinda funny how comfort and fun don’t go hand in hand sometimes. what do you think?

I’ve got a 2016 Civic EX-T in Texas and dropped it on some lowering springs. Ride feels a bit stiffer but man the handling is on another level. Love it

lowering springs made my 2016 Civic feel way more like a sports car here in Ohio I ve noticed corners are sharper but the bumps on the road can be brutal sometimes still I love the look and the handling is a game changer for me

Honestly I’m loving the look but my back’s not so much. Still rockin it though.

lowering springs on my 2016 civic ext gave it this cool stance but man the ride got pretty rough around the edges. I live in Toronto where potholes are a way of life so every bump feels like a mini earthquake. It looks awesome tho.

I’ve had my 2016 Civic EXT in Toronto and decided to throw on some lowering springs. Honestly I thought it would be all good vibes but man the ride got pretty harsh. Every bump feels like a jolt through the spine. Looks mad sleek tho so there’s that. I guess the looks are a trade-off for comfort. But hey I’m still cruising.

Ive had my 2016 Civic EX-T lowered with springs in Chicago for a few months now. The ride is definitely stiffer but feels more controlled on those winding roads. Just gotta watch out for potholes though.

I like the look too real sporty vibes but my back isn’t a fan of the bumps.

ive got a 2016 Civic and I dropped it with some lowering springs last summer in California it definitely corners better now but the ride’s kinda harsh over bumps not gonna lie I find myself avoiding potholes like they’re landmines but man the stance looks so good now so its a trade off

I had lowering springs on my 2016 Civic here in Canada and wow what a difference.

The ride is kinda stiffer but corners so much better not to mention it looks super aggressive now :racing_car:

so I ve got a 2016 civic ext in Michigan and after I put in lowering springs it felt like a whole new ride.

worth it if you like sporty vibes

Turns corners like a champ though just gotta watch out for potholes.

I’ve had lowering springs on my 2016 Civic in California and man it totally stiffens things up. Feels more responsive around turns but rougher on potholes for sure. Just my experience.

I’ve had my 2016 Civic EX-T lowered with springs for a year now and it’s like a different car. I live in Michigan where roads are rough but the handling is tighter and I love the improved cornering. Just watch out for those potholes.

Honestly I have noticed the ride is a bit harsher but I think it adds to the sporty feel. Totally worth it if you like that low stance which turns heads.

Ive got a 2016 Civic and I swapped to lowering springs last summer in Texas. The ride was stiffer but man the handling was crisp. I loved how it looked but potholes became my worst enemy. I have to dodge them like a game. Just be ready for a bumpy ride on rough roads ya know.

I’ve got a 2016 Civic and dropped it with some lowering springs in Texas. The ride feels way sportier but you feel every bump now like the potholes jump up to say hello. Handling is nice though especially in corners. Not sure if it’s all worth it.
