hey guys, so I had to replace the fog light on my 2019 F150 Platinum the other day. it was a bit of a pain, but hey, that’s how it goes, right? I’m no mechanic but figured I’d give it a shot.
first off, you gotta pop the hood and remove the grille. sounds easy, but I was wrestling with those clips like they were in a wrestling match. and you know, I was kinda sweating.
after that, it’s just a matter of twisting out the old bulb. but man, who knew how sensitive these things are. I swear I felt like I was defusing a bomb. don’t forget to wear gloves; oil from your fingers can mess up the new bulb.
anyone else have their fog lights blow out? I mean, do these things have a lifespan or do they just like to mess with us?
