How do I install the 11th gen civic left side bumper trim piece?

i recently had to swap out my left side bumper trim on my 11th gen civic. thought it’d be a piece of cake, but you know how that goes. first, you gotta pop the hood and remove some clips under there. i spent like 20 mins looking for the right tool, turns out a flathead screwdriver did the trick.

after that, you’ll want to gently pull off the old trim. but be careful, you don’t wanna break anything else. And don’t forget to clean the area before putting the new one on. installation is pretty straight forward just snap it in place and re-attach the clips.

what was tricky for me was lining everything up. takes a bit of patience. anyone else have that issue? it’s like the trim has a mind of its own. overall, it took less than an hour. feels good to DIY instead of paying someone to do it.
