How do I install honda civic hubcaps on my 2020 Honda Civic?

so the other day i was driving my 2020 civic, and I hit a pothole (like why are they so big?) and popped one of my hubcaps. I decided it was time to replace them. I watched a couple of videos, and they made it look super easy. but honestly, it was a little trickier than I thought.

first, I just lined up the hubcap with the wheel and tried to push it down. I thought it would just snap on, but it took some elbow grease. And I was like, is it even fitted right? you gotta make sure it’s all the way on or it might fall off again. ever had that happen?
