How do I install 2020 ford f150 xlt side step oem parts?
so the other day, I finally decided to put on those side steps I ordered. You know, the ones that make it easier to get in and out of my truck without looking like a baby giraffe trying to walk. Took me forever to figure it out, but I got there.
First off, the instructions were kinda like IKEA furniture assembly - confusing as heck. But I had my buddy helping me, which turned into a bit of a comedy show. And let me tell you, we spent way too much time trying to find the right tools. I mean, who knew a 10mm socket was so hard to find in my garage?
I remember thinking, do I really need a torque wrench for this? My buddy said yes, so I pretended to be all professional about it. But it felt good to tighten those bolts and see those shiny steps in place.
So, any tips for next time I do this? Or is it just me who struggles with basic DIY stuff?

I’ve discovered having the right tools makes all the difference.
That said I wouldn’t want to do it on a rainy day slippery mess waiting to happen.
But my F150 looks sharp now.

I ve installed OEM side steps on my 2020 F150 in my garage last summer. It was a mix of fun and frustration. The directions were a bit vague. Kind of felt like a puzzle without all the pieces. But once they were on it really changed the look of the truck.
