Ive dealt with weird radio issues in my 2015 F150 in Ontario. Sometimes the sound just cuts out. Its like it has a mind of its own. Had to reset the whole system once and it actually worked for a bit.
Check the fuses too they can be tricky.
Trucks can be finicky I remember bumping my head trying to figure out my buddy’s 2014 F150’s radio issue to get it to work again in the middle of nowhere in Texas.
If the panel’s acting weird probably just a loose connection or blown fuse. It can be really frustrating when it’s not straightforward. Good luck with it.
