How can I replace the headlights on a 2004 f150?

so last week I was out driving my 2004 f150 and realized my headlights were basically useless. I mean, it was like trying to see in a cave with a candle. I thought, “hey, I can change these myself; how hard can it be?” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t that easy.

But I got there in the end. first, I popped the hood and looked around. I felt like a detective at a crime scene, but with less glamour. I had to unplug the old bulbs, which was a bit tricky, like trying to get a stubborn jar open.

And then I realized one of the clips holding the bulb in was broken. Great, right? So I had to make a quick trip to the store to grab a new one. Do you think they should make supplies easier to find? Anyway, once I had that, it was just a matter of putting everything back together.

If you’ve done this, any tips? Would love to hear your stories too.
