How can I improve visibility with 2021 ford f150 xl stx taillights?
so the other night, I’m backing out of my driveway and realize my taillights on my 2021 F150 XL STX are super dim. I swear, felt like I was driving a stealth mode truck or something, like a ninja in the dark. But I don’t wanna be that guy who gets rear-ended cause I didn’t light up properly.
I’ve thought about swapping them for some LED ones, but is that overkill? And I’ve heard some people putting brighter bulbs, but I dunno if that really works. Has anyone done this? That would be great to know if it helped or if I just wasted my cash.
And also, does anyone have tips on adjusting the lights? Like, I wanna make sure they’re pointing right and not blinding some poor soul. Just trying to not be a menace on the road, ya know?
I ve got a 2021 F150 XL STX and honestly the stock taillights are kinda dim. Last week driving home from work in Oregon I almost missed a guy backing out of his driveway.
I’ve been thinking about LED replacements to brighten things up a bit
they look cool too and might catch others attention better.
i ve got a 2021 f150 xl stx and the taillights just seem kinda dim sometimes out here in Texas
I put some LED bulbs in and wow what a difference
definitely helps to be seen when driving through those dark country roads at night
I’ve noticed my F150 taillights aren’t the brightest in the rain down here in Texas
Swapping for LED might help maybe a light bar too
Visibility is key y’know
I live in Texas and those taillights really need a boost. I ve seen trucks with upgraded LEDs that look sharp and are super bright.
Had a buddy who switched to some aftermarket options and he said it made a world of difference at night. I bet it would help out a lot especially in the rural areas.
I ve got a 2021 F150 too and those taillights are kinda dull I’ve added some LED strips just to pop more at night.
Drives down the highway in Oregon they barely light up. Did some tinting but still looks plain.
I’ve noticed that swapping out those stock taillights for LED ones makes a huge difference. I’m in Texas and with all the crazy weather seeing your truck in the rain is key.
I have to say though that some aftermarket lights can be a bit too flashy.
I ve always thought the taillights on my 2021 F150 could use a upgrade. Driving through the rain in Seattle last winter I felt like no one could see me. Maybe some LED replacements would help I like those brighter ones. Also a little tinting could add some style while improving visibility.
I ve found that adding LED bulbs helps a ton near Seattle. Makes my F150 stand out more at night.
Yellow tint overlays tho? Not sure if they help visibility or just look odd.
I’ve got a 2021 F150 and the taillights are kinda dull especially driving through the rainy evenings here in Seattle.
Thinking of swapping em out for some LED ones that really pop.
Heard they make a huge difference in visibility.
Everyone should check their taillights, you never know who isn’t seeing you. Got a buddy who had an accident cause of it. Just a wild drive out there lately.
Ive had my 2021 F150 XL STX here in Ohio and the taillights seem kinda dull at night
I put LED bulbs in and wow what a difference
Really helps with visibility especially in rain
Maybe tint them but not too dark could be risky
Just a thought
