hey guys, so I’ve been trying to get more outta my 1990 f150 and, honestly, it kinda feels like it’s running on fumes. I’ve done a few things, like changing the oil and air filter, but it’s still sluggish.
But last weekend, I cleaned the throttle body and wow, what a difference that made. And I’m thinking about upgrading the spark plugs next. Anyone ever try that?
also, what about exhaust systems? do they really help, or is it just a shiny waste of cash? I just want my truck to feel like it’s got some pep again.
Man I had a 90 f150 back in Canada it was a beast I loved driving it around town. I ve found that a solid exhaust system can really wake up the engine. Plus some new spark plugs and wires can make a difference too. You’d be surprised how much those little things matter. And don’t forget about the air filter that can get so clogged.
