How can I fix the 2001 honda civic ac blink codes issue?

so I was having this annoying issue with my '01 Civic where the AC light would just blink like it was trying to send a secret code or something. super frustrating, right? first, I thought maybe it just needed a recharge or whatever, but turns out, there’s more to it.

so I checked the codes using the climate control buttons. I felt like a detective. But it gave me a code for the compressor, and I was like “great, just what I needed.” I ended up replacing a relay or two and, guess what, it helped a lot.

I mean, has anyone else had this issue? I heard it could be the wiring too. Sometimes I wonder if my car just wants attention like a needy pet. Pretty wild, huh?

I ve had my 2001 Civic for years here in Toronto and the AC blink codes drove me crazy at first I thought it was gonna cost a fortune but found some DIY videos online and got lucky with just a fuse replacement

Still not 100% but at least it blows cold sometimes. Just gotta keep tinkering.

Had the same issue with my 2001 Civic here in Michigan last summer. The AC just wouldn’t stop blinking. After some digging I found out it was just a bad connector. I’ve seen forums say the reset works too. Kinda a hassle but worth it when you get that cold air back. Hope you manage to sort it out soon.

Ive had my 2001 Civic for years and the AC codes drove me nuts last summer in Chicago. After all that frustration I got into the manuals online and reset it myself. Feels good to fix it without shelling out cash.

My buddy swears by cleaning the connections first. Just grab some electrical cleaner he says and you might save yourself more headaches. Sometimes I think these old cars are like puzzles waiting to be solved.

so I had this problem with my 2001 civic in Chicago a few years back the AC would just blink non stop super annoying I ended up checking the fuses and it turned out one was blown replaced it and it worked again for a while but it came back

I think it might just be a wiring issue too that car has seen better days but its still holding up somehow

ive had my 2001 civic for years and that blinking ac light drives me nuts its just a pain to deal with.

sometimes I think its better to just roll the windows down anyway lol but I guess fixing it is worth a shot.

I ve had my 2001 Civic for years and the AC blink codes drove me nuts last summer

turns out it was just a loose connector behind the glove box

I ve struggled with that blinking AC issue before even thought about giving up on it in summer heat in Texas

found some videos online that helped me a lot

I ve been dealing with my 2001 civic air conditioning for a while now it just blinks all the time. I tried checking the fuse and it worked for a bit but then it started again.

Honestly feels like this car is playing games with me sometimes especially in the summer when it gets too hot in Texas. Really frustrating.

I once had this issue in my old 2001 Civic driving through Michigan the AC kept blinking like crazy. I’ve read about checking the pressure and the connections first that probably made the difference for me. Hope you find it easier than I did.

I ve been wrestling with the same AC blink codes on my 2001 Civic for months now sitting in my driveway here in Toronto. Took forever to figure it out but changing the fuse seemed to help a bit. Just wish it was a fix all.

My buddy down the street had similar issues with his Civic too. Its like they all have a secret problem or something. Honestly just a real pain trying to stay cool in that car during summer.

I had this exact same issue on my 2001 Civic last summer in California. Super annoying when you’re sweating in traffic. I found resetting the ECU worked for a bit.

But honestly sometimes I just let it blink and pretend it’s a light show.
