Do different Honda CRV colors affect resale value significantly?

Do different Honda CRV colors affect resale value significantly?

so, here’s the thing. i had this old honda crv, and when it was time to sell it, i swear my buddy was all about the color. he was like, “dude, if it ain’t black or white, you ain’t sellin’ it for much.” but my crv was this weird dark green, and honestly, i thought it looked great.

so i sold it for what i thought was a decent price, but then i heard from some friends that if it was a more popular color, i would have gotten way more. like, do people really care that much? its a car, not an art piece.

but i guess it makes sense? if someone sees a bright red one versus a funky green, maybe they won’t wanna buy the green one. how much do you think colors matter, really?

I had a friend in Toronto who swore by the silver CRV saying it was easier to sell later. I’ve noticed the more vibrant colors like blue or red sit longer on lots. Seems like safe colors reign supreme in resale value.

I ve noticed in my neighborhood that white and black CRVs seem to fly off the lots faster than others. It’s wild how colors like blue or green just sit around. Guess it all depends on what folks think is trendy so probably affects resale.

I ve had my silver CRV for years now and honestly it looks great. I think the color helps it keep its value better.

In my area it seems like the more neutral tones like gray or white really appeal to buyers.

Bright colors might not do as well in resale but it depends on the market I guess. People have different tastes everywhere.

I think colors kinda matter I had a blue CRV and it sold fast in Seattle. Folks love unique shades I guess. Never seen a boring one go quick.

But I ve heard black and white always do better too. Makes sense I guess. More classic vibes or something.

I’ve noticed around here in Canada that colors like white and gray seem to hold their value better. My buddy tried selling his red CRV and it took forever.

Different shades definitely play a role in what people are willing to pay. Just feels like personal preference comes into play a lot.

Ive noticed that colors like black and white seem to sell faster around here in Texas kinda crazy how people care so much about that stuff I have a blue CRV and it’s been a conversation starter its unusual but I wonder if that will hurt resale a bit in the long run I’ve seen pink ones too wild times.

I ve noticed around here in Oregon that colors like white and black sell faster but my buddy swears by the blue one he owns it looks nice but not sure.

Ive seen people in my area pay more for black CRVs than any other color in Michigan. It’s wild how that works sometimes. Guess certain shades just make a difference.

I have a buddy with a blue CRV and he swears it’s the best color for resale. Said he saw a green one sit a lot longer at the dealership.

In my town the neutrals seem to fly off the lot faster. I’ve always thought it was just personal preference but maybe color really does play a role. Just interesting to think about.
