Can someone tell me the 2014 f150 50 oil capacity?

Can someone tell me the 2014 f150 50 oil capacity?

So the other day, I was working on my 2014 F150 and trying to change the oil. It’s funny how I thought I could just wing it, ya know? I mean, I’ve done it before, but somehow I forgot how much oil I needed this time.

But while I’m pouring it in, I start wondering if I’d used too much. Like, does too much oil even cause issues? I remember my buddy telling me once he overfilled his and it was a mess.

So anyway, can someone just give me the quick lowdown on the oil capacity for the 5.0? I just wanna make sure I’m not making my truck angry or anything. Also, what’s the best oil brand? any recommendations?

I remember when I finally got my 2014 F150 it was such a beast.

I think the oil capacity is around 6 quarts if I recall right.

Hope that helps out fellow truck lover.

I remember when I got my 2014 F150 in Texas I was all confused about the oil situation. After digging around I found out that the 5.0 engine takes about 8 quarts with the filter change. It’s kinda wild how much it can drink but I guess that’s what makes it tough.

Honestly I’ve had my fair share of oil changes and it’s been smooth sailing so far. Hope that helps someone out there.

I ve got a 2014 F150 5.0 too and I can tell you it takes about 8 quarts with the filter. I remember trying to figure this out while I was changing my oil in my driveway in Michigan.

It was a bit chilly but I got it done and felt like a pro after.

Definitely worth keeping tabs on that oil level for sure.

I’ve got a 2014 F150 and I remember when I was doing my first oil change up here in Ontario I found out the oil capacity is about 6 quarts. It’s a decent truck for hauling stuff around and getting through winter. Personally I like the way these engines run smooth. Just make sure you check the manual to be sure. Good luck with the oil change

I found out that a 2014 F150 5.0 needs about 8 quarts of oil with the filter change. I remember changing mine last summer while sweating buckets in Texas heat.

Its a beast but man keeping it filled can feel like a workout sometimes.

I’ve got a 2014 F150 too in Michigan and I believe it takes about 6 quarts with the filter change. I remember the first oil change I did and spilled some oil everywhere. Good times. Just a heads up it can get messy real quick.

In my experience with the 2014 F150 50 down here in Texas I usually filled it up with about 6 quarts of oil.

I did a couple of changes with different brands and honestly I’ve found synthetic to be the best for my truck.

Just a heads up though if you go over the fill mark it can mess with that oil pressure light.

I ve got a 2014 F150 5.0 and I always change the oil myself up here in Alberta I usually go with 8 quarts including the filter. It’s been reliable for me so far even in the Canadian winters. One time I forgot to check the level though and that was a heart-stopping moment Hopefully that helps someone here figure out their oil needs.

I’ve got a 2014 F150 too and I found it takes about 6 quarts of oil. It’s pretty solid for a truck if you ask me. Helps keep it running smooth.

I remember changing the oil in my buddy’s 2014 F150 last summer in Texas. That truck is a beast.

It takes about 8 quarts with a filter. We spilled some oil and laughed it off. I’m not a mechanic but with how that thing runs I’m sure it can handle a bit of extra if needed.

I remember when I had my 2014 F150 in Alberta I had to figure this out too. It’s around 6 quarts with a filter change. I’ve always loved the reliability of that truck never failed me while hauling stuff.

But honestly it feels like I was always draining it or adding on those road trips. That beast could drink oil like a thirsty camel. Good times tho.

I ve got a 2014 F150 5.0 too and I remember looking up the oil capacity when I was changing it last year it’s 8 quarts with the filter.

Such a solid truck though been running great out here in Texas.

Man I remember when I bought my 2014 F150 up in Michigan thinking I could take on anything the road threw at me. The oil capacity for the 5.0 is around 8 quarts if I recall correctly. Just made sure to always use good oil.

I ve had some decent runs with it and had to change the oil more times than I can count. Loving the truck but did I mention the gas mileage? That’s a whole other story.

I remember when I changed the oil in my buddy’s 2014 F150 last summer in Texas. It was so hot I could fry an egg on the hood.

We ended up needing about 6 quarts of 5W-20.

Definitely a bit more than my old truck to be honest but it ran smooth after.

Just gotta keep an eye on it because those EcoBoosts can burn oil if you’re not careful.

I had a 2014 F150 and I remember it needing about 6 quarts of oil. I’m in Michigan and my truck did great in the snow. Solid ride.
