Can someone provide the 2004 honda crv 4wd front brake torque specs?

so i was messing with my 2004 honda crv the other day, trying to do the front brakes. thought i could save some cash and do it myself, ya know? but then i hit a wall looking for the torque specs. like, why isn’t this stuff easy to find?

i think it’s around 80 ft-lbs for the caliper bolts, but don’t take my word for it. i’ve seen it vary a bit. have you done your brakes before? i always feel like a pro until i can’t find a simple number. just my luck, right? and what’s with these complicated manuals anyway?

I remember working on my friend’s 2004 CRV in my garage in Michigan. We had fun but man I couldn’t find those torque specs anywhere.

I ve heard it’s around 80 ft-lbs but double check just in case.

I ve actually dealt with the CRV brakes before here in Colorado it was a chilly winter morning everything was covered in snow

For the front brake torque specs I’ve seen around 80 ft-lbs should do the trick might wanna double-check the manual though just in case

Pretty solid little SUV overall can’t go wrong with it

I remember doing brakes on my 2004 CRV in my garage in Seattle. Such a great little SUV. I think the torque spec was around 85 ft-lbs for the caliper bracket. Been a while though. Hope this helps.

I remember when I did my brake job on my 04 CR-V back in Michigan it was a chilly day. Should’ve checked the torque specs before I dove in. It’s around 80 ft-lbs for those front caliper bolts if I recall right. Really makes a difference with stopping power. Hope that helps.

I remember when I did my brakes on my 2004 CRV in my garage in Michigan. It was pretty easy until I had to find the torque specs.

I’ve always found Honda specs to be kinda precise so 80 ft-lbs for the caliper bracket seems right but double-checking is always smart.

I’ve always loved my 2004 Honda CRV. Last year I was changing the brakes and couldn’t find the torque specs.

After some digging it was around 89 ft-lbs. Hope this helps.

I’ve worked on my 2004 CRV for years up in Canada and trust me knowing those torque specs is a must. Last time I did brakes I under-torqued it and had a little scare on the highway. So definitely look them up.

I think it’s around 80 ft-lbs for the caliper bolts but double-check to be sure. Safety first even if you feel like a pro haha.

I remember my buddy’s 2004 CR-V in Toronto and we had a brake job. It was an adventure let me tell ya.

For those front brake calipers I’ve found it’s usually around 80 foot-pounds but double check to be safe. Those bolts can be tricky if you over torque. Good luck with it.

I ve had my 2004 CRV for years now love it but the brake specs can be tricky.

When I did mine last summer I used 25 ft-lbs hope that helps.

I have a 2004 CRV too and remember when I did the brakes last year I googled the torque specs and found it’s about 80 ft-lbs for the front. Just made the job way smoother.

Here in Oregon it rains a lot so I’m always checking the brakes. Never thought I’d be this obsessed with torque specs but here we are lol.

I remember changing brakes on my 04 CRV in my garage last winter in Canada it was a bit tricky at first.

I ve got the spec written down somewhere but think its around 80 ft-lbs. Hope it helps

I remember changing my brakes on my 2003 CRV in my driveway in California. It was a hot day and I thought I could wing it without the torque specs. Big mistake.

For the front brakes on a 2004 CRV 4WD I’ve always used around 80 ft-lbs for the caliper bolts. Worked for me. Good luck with the job.
