Can someone explain the model trim differences f150 matrix?

so, i was thinking about upgrading my F150 and wow, it’s like a endless maze of trims and features. last summer, i borrowed my buddy’s Lariat and loved the heated seats, but then i tried out a King Ranch and man, the leather was like butter. i was like, am i driving a truck or a fancy couch?

but seriously, what’s the real diff between these trims? And how does the FX4 package even fit into all this? i tried to do some research, but it just made my head hurt.

is it just me or do these new features feel like they come straight outta a sci-fi movie? i mean, who needs a truck that can park itself tho. and are the lower trims really that bare-bones, like is there even a radio? i just wanna know what’s worth it, ya know?

I ve driven a few F150s over the years and the trim differences can be wild I had a XLT in Texas and then jumped to a Lariat in Ontario totally different beasts with options the Lariat felt almost luxury while the XLT was more workhorse vibes

Honestly the matrix is kinda confusing you think you know what you’re getting and then there’s like seven versions of the same truck its like why not just make it simpler or you get lost in the details a bit
