Can someone explain how to turn off drl for a ford f150 2011?

hey, so I messed around with my 2011 f150 trying to turn off the DRL. it was driving me crazy at night, lights all bright like a Christmas tree. I read somewhere you gotta go into the fuse box and pull a specific fuse. But which one?

I ended up pulling a few fuses and feeling like a mechanic. Maybe I pulled the wrong ones tho. how’d you guys do it? anyone else had this issue? it’d be cool to stop the glare for good.

In my experience with my 2011 F150 here in Ohio, I’ve found it’s not super straightforward. I have to go into the settings on the dashboard and fiddle with a few options. Honestly, I miss the days when it was just a switch!

I ve had my 2011 F150 for a few years now, and turning off the DRL can be a pain! In Canada, they make it tricky with regulations. Still, it’s doable if you dig into the fuse box. Good luck!

I’ve been down this road with my 2010 F150 here in Canada! It can be a bit tricky, but if you turn the ignition on, then hold the turn signal lever down for about 5 seconds, it should do the trick. I actually like DRL for safety, but sometimes it just feels unnecessary. Hope that helps!

I’ve dealt with this issue too in my 2011 F150 up here in Canada. It’s pretty annoying having the DRLs on all the time! To turn them off, you can usually find that option in the settings menu of the driver display, or sometimes even by pulling the headlight switch. Honestly, I remember when I had my 2011 F150 in Ohio, it was kinda annoying with the DRL always on. I’ve heard you can do it via the headlight switch, just turn it to off or use some fuses. I even considered getting a programmer, but that’s a bit overboard for me!

Ive been in the same boat! In my 2011 F150, I found it tricky at first. A buddy in Texas showed me that you can usually just pull the DRL fuse or change settings in the headlight controls. It’s kind of a hassle, but gives you more control over your ride. Good luck with it! Hope you find it easy!
