Can I use a B series swap kit on my 1998 honda civic hatchback?

so, I put a B series swap kit in my 98 civic hatch a while back. honestly, it wasn’t as hard as i thought. But man, those parts can be pricey. I swear I spent half my paycheck just on bolts and hoses.

i remember thinking, why am i paying so much for tiny bits? but then I drove it after the swap and it was worth every penny. The power is just on another level.

but, you ever had a moment where you think, did I install the motor mount right? anyone else feel like that? it’s like a constant worry in the back of your mind.

I ve actually done a B series swap on my friend’s '98 Civic hatchback back in Cali crazy fun experience handling was insane. Just make sure to get a good mount kit.

I’ve seen a few people do it around here in California and they loved the extra power. Kinda tricky though if you’re not experienced with swaps.
Honestly depends on your budget and time too.

I’ve been tinkering with Hondas forever and I gotta say a B series swap kit on a 98 Civic hatch is like finding gold in a junkyard. I did my swap up here in Canada and man it was worth every second spent outside in the cold. Just be ready for some modifications though like motor mounts and wiring harness stuff. But once you get it done you’ll have a beast on your hands.

I remember my bud in Texas swapped a B series into his 97 Civic and it was wild. He said the kit worked great with just a bit of tweaking. Definitely changes the whole vibe of the car and makes it a blast to drive.

I’ve been thinking about going that route myself but the hassle of it all kinda holds me back. You know how it is trying to balance work and car projects.

I ve been through this with my buddy’s 98 civic over here in California. We used a B series swap kit and it was a wild ride. Talk about gains it’s like it woke up after a long nap.

But I remember it got a bit tricky with wiring and stuff so make sure you’re ready for that pain. Totally worth it though for a project car.

I ve seen a ton of B series swaps in my area and they really seem to wake up those Civics.

But make sure you check the mounts and everything fits right.

I’ve been in the same boat with my 99 Civic hatch and honestly it’s a game changer. The B series swap kit opens up so much potential.

I found mine at a local shop in California and couldn’t be happier. Just make sure to check compatibility though.

I’ve done a B series swap in my 98 hatchback back in Michigan and it was a wild ride. The power difference is insane but fitting is a pain sometimes. Just gotta be ready for some DIY headaches you know. Totally worth it tho.

I ve tried the B series swap kit on my old Civic in Florida got wild results super fun but watch out for those extra costs

It can fit but depends on your setup a buddy did it and regretted later hope your experience is better than his

I’ve seen plenty of folks in my local car club in Ontario doing B series swaps on their Civics. It’s a blast to drive but the proper kit is key for fitting right.

Honestly I’ve watched some crazy builds here and it really changes the game. Just be ready for the wiring headaches though.

I had a 98 civic too up in Oregon and decided to go for the B series swap it really woke the car up. Just make sure you check everything like mounts and wiring I ve seen some friends struggle with that part but oh man when it’s done it’s fun.

I did a B series swap on my 98 Civic hatchback in California and let me tell you it was a wild ride. The kit fits pretty well but you need to modify some mounts. It was challenging but totally worth it once it was done. Sounds like a dream. Just prepare for some wiring headaches if you haven’t done it before.
