Can I install Firestone Airide on my older Toyota RAV4?
so I was driving my ‘01 RAV4 the other day, and I hit the bumpiest road ever. Felt like I was about to launch into space. It got me thinking, maybe I should up my game with some Airide suspension.
I’m no mechanic, but I’ve done a few DIY projects on my car. Like that time I tried to fix my speaker and ended up with a hole in my dashboard. Good times. But I’m kinda worried if I can even install Firestone Airide on this older model. Do they have kits for it?
I guess it would make my ride smoother, but would I lose any ground clearance? And what if I mess something up again? Anyone got tips or experiences with this?
I ve heard people put Firestone Airide on their RAV4s even the older ones not sure how smooth it rides though
In my buddy’s RAV4 we did some serious off-roading in BC and the load leveling helped tons
I’ve got a 2006 RAV4 in California and installed Firestone Airide last year. It was a bit tricky but worth it for the extra comfort on long drives. Just watch out for clearance issues if you’re loaded up.
I’ve got a 2005 RAV4 in Oregon and added Firestone Airide last year. Honestly it changed the game. Just keep an eye on your weight as it can get wobbly with a heavy load. Smooth rides after that tho.
I put Airide on my old RAV4 in Virginia last summer and it really transformed the ride quality I have to say. It wasn’t straightforward but totally worth it. Definitely gives the car a nice boost and better handling. Just be ready for some tweaking.
I ve got an older RAV4 up in Canada and put Firestone Airide on it. made a huge difference in handling. totally worth it if you’re looking for a smoother ride.
