Can I install a RAV4 roof rack by myself easily?
so last summer, I thought it’d be super easy to add a roof rack to my RAV4. My buddy said it was a piece of cake, and I was like, how hard could it be? But then I started reading the instructions and, man, it felt like I was decoding ancient hieroglyphs.
I ended up with more bolts than I knew what to do with. And when I finally thought I was done, I had to re-do half of it because I put the brackets on upside down. Ever had that feeling of triumph just to be slapped with reality?
is it really as easy as they say? or is this just another DIY project that turns into a mini disaster? If you’ve done it, was it smooth sailing, or did you have to sacrifice some blood, sweat, and tears like I did?
