Can I do cb install in 2024 f150 myself easily?

so I remember trying to install a CB in my old truck, right? It was a Saturday, I thought I could do it in like, 30 mins. But I ended up in a mess with wires everywhere, and my buddy was like, “dude, what is that spaghetti?” It was funny and frustrating at the same time.

But I’m thinkin, since I got a 2024 F150 now, can I tackle this myself again? I mean, how hard could it be? I’ve watched a couple youtube videos, and they make it look easy you know. But then I wonder if I’ll end up with a jigsaw puzzle again.

And like, should I even bother with all the fancy tools? Or is it mostly plug and play? Any tips or tricks from you guys would be cool, just don’t wanna blow a fuse or something ridiculous like that.

I ve done it on my 2020 model and honestly it wasn’t too bad at all in my garage here in Minnesota. Just make sure you got the right tools handy.

I think if you read some online guides you should be good to go. Just take your time and don’t rush through it.

just did a cb install on my 2022 f150 and it was surprisingly easy in my garage in michigan. I have a few tools lying around and watched some youtube videos. pretty straightforward honestly just follow the wires and make sure you don’t mess anything up. I’ve read that the 2024 is similar so you should be fine.

Last summer I tried installing a cb in my buddy’s 2020 F150 in Texas. It was kinda a mess honestly with all the wires but I guess if you follow the video guides carefully you might pull it off. If you’re comfy with tools and tackling some wiring it shouldnt be too tough. Just don’t forget to read the manual. Had a friend who forgot that and let me tell you it was chaos in his garage :sweat_smile:

Ive done it on my buddy’s F150 in his garage in Texas it was pretty simple just follow the instructions and you should be good to go.

I ve done a cb install on my old Chevy and it was pretty smooth and I was in Ohio.

For the 2024 F150 might be a bit tricky but if you watch a few videos you should manage fine. Its not rocket science or anything.
