hey folks, so I’m looking for some light weight rims for my 2017 civic si. I had a buddy who put on some OZ Racing ones, and wow was his ride way quicker.
I’ve been checking out some brands but it’s hard to pick. But, how do you even decide? I mean, I want something that looks good and makes my car feel like it’s floating, ya know?
Has anyone tried the Volk TE37? I’ve heard those are sick but kinda pricey. just wanna be careful not to break the bank. Any thoughts?
I’ve got a buddy in California who put on a set of Enkei RPF1s on his Civic Si and it transformed the entire ride. Super light and responsive.
Definitely recommend checking those out if you want some serious performance without the extra weight.
I ve tried a few different rims on my 2017 Si and the Volk TE37s were awesome for weight but pricey.
Found some Enkei RPF1s super light too and way more affordable.
I’ve had some luck with Volk Racing rims for my 2017 Civic Si out in California. Super light and they look sick. Had a friend with some Enkei RPF1s and he loved them too. Just make sure to keep an eye on the offset and weight. Happy hunting just dont rush it.
I ve had great luck with Volk Racing rims on my Si in California they are super light and handling is amazing I swapped out my stock ones and the difference was unreal definitely worth it if you’re looking to shave off some weight

I ve had my 2017 Honda Civic Si for a couple years now and was on the hunt for lightweight rims. I ended up going with some OZ Racing Ultraleggera and they seriously transformed the ride. Just feels so much more nimble now. I live in the Midwest so the roads can be rough but these rims hold up nice. Worth checking out for sure.

I’ve also heard good things about the Volk TE37s if you wanna splurge a bit. Just be ready to feel every bump though.

I’ve got some Konig Hypergram rims on my '17 Si and they are super light. I was worried about ride quality but honestly they’re great. Driving around Seattle makes everything feel smoother. Totally recommend them.

Last summer in NYC I switched to some 18s and the handling was just way better on those twisties.

I’ve got a 2017 Civic Si myself and last summer I swapped to some Rota Slipstreams. Man they are super light and made a big difference in handling here in California’s twisties.
I thought I was going to miss the stock wheels but these have a way better aesthetic and performance.
Weight matters for sure when you’re trying to maximize that K20 power. Worth every penny if you ask me.
