Are there common issues related to 2004 Toyota Camry pulsation damper?

so, I’ve been having some weird issues with my 2004 Camry, and I think it might be the pulsation damper. I mean, it’s like the car is trying to dance or something. But it’s not a good look, trust me.

I read online that the damper can wear out and cause all sorts of problems. mine started vibrating like crazy at stoplights. anyone else have that happen?

also, I had to replace mine and it was super annoying. why did I think I could do it myself? never again, lol. anyway, just wondering if anyone else has had a nightmare with this part too.

you know I’ve had my 2004 Camry for years and the pulsation damper issue just popped up. I’m in Ohio and it was kind of a surprise.

I ve read around and seems like a common thing for this model.

sometimes it makes weird noises too and I’m like is this normal? just hoping its nothing serious but hey that’s old cars for ya

I had a 2004 Camry back in Portland and I remember that weird vibration at low speeds. Never figured out if it was the pulsation damper or something else. It was kinda annoying but overall I liked the car.

I’ve heard some folks mention similar issues online though. Guess that’s just how it goes sometimes with older models.

I ve had my 2004 Camry since 2010 and honestly the pulsation damper thing seems to pop up in discussions a lot.

I remember driving back from a road trip in Ohio and feeling this strange vibration. After some digging it turned out to be related to the damper so I’ve replaced it a couple of times now.

It’s not a huge issue but it can catch you off guard. Can be annoying though.

Living in Ohio I’ve had my share of issues with my 2004 Camry especially the pulsation damper it seems to vibrate around 40 mph.

I ve heard others mention similar problems could just be the age but still frustrating to deal with.

Had a 2004 Camry in Texas and that pulsation damper gave me headaches. I’ve heard others say similar things about it too.

I ve driven my 2004 Camry all over Ontario and the pulsation damper gave me trouble last year. Such a weird issue when it happens.

Friends say they had similar issues too in the States. Maybe it’s just one of those quirks with this model. Hope it gets sorted out.

Ive had my 2004 Camry for years now and honestly never thought much about the pulsation damper.

But a friend of mine in Florida had issues where the car just felt off while driving.

He said his rpm would bounce and made weird noises.

Was kinda nice having no problems personally though lol.

I think older cars just have quirks ya know.

As long as it gets me from point A to point B I’m good.

I’ve had my 2004 Camry for years in California and I’ve noticed the pulsation damper gives me trouble now and then. It’s a little annoying when I’m cruising and suddenly feel that weird vibration.

My friend had the same issue in New York so guess it might be a common thing for this model. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on if you own one.

I ve had my 2004 Camry for a while and the pulsation damper gave me a headache once. Driving went all bumpy and weird ugh

Thought I was losing my mind but turns out its a common issue around here in Canada. Makes sense now I guess.

I ve had my 2004 Camry for years and never had issues with the pulsation damper
Feels like a solid ride in Michigan honestly
It surprises me how reliable it is

Ive had my 2004 Camry for a while now down in Texas and honestly the pulsation damper issue really crept up on me. It started off as just a mild vibration and then bam it felt like I was driving a washing machine on spin cycle.

A friend mentioned something about how these dampers can wear out over time so maybe its a common thing. Anyway I ended up replacing mine and it really made a difference.

I ve had my 2004 Camry for like five years now and noticed this weird vibration when I accelerate sometimes. Took it to the shop and they mentioned something about a pulsation damper. Heard it’s a common issue with these models. Must be something about the way they designed it.

Overall still love the car but that little glitch is annoying.

I ve had my 2004 Camry for years and never had issues with the pulsation damper until recently. it’s kind of annoying but not a total deal breaker. Just gotta see how it goes.
