hey guys, so I’ve been lookin’ into upgrading the headlights for my 2013 f150. the stock ones are kinda dim, right? like, I feel like I’m driving with a candle sometimes.
I found some LED options that say they’re way brighter and last longer. heard they don’t even get that hot, which is a plus. I mean, who wants to melt plastic or blind oncoming traffic?
But then I read some stuff about installation. some folks say it’s easy-peasy, while others act like you need a degree in rocket science. what’s the deal?
I also saw some halo rings for a nice look. but do they really help with visibility? or just make me look cooler at the drive-thru?
just curious if anyone’s already been through this upgrade journey. what’d you get and how’s it working out?

I’ve been considering new headlights for my 2013 F150 since I live in Michigan, where it gets super dark! I have seen some cool LED options that really brighten things up. Just be sure to check the local regulations though; some upgrades can be illegal.
I’ve got a 2013 F150 here in Michigan, and I absolutely love upgrading my headlights! I found some LED options that really brightened up my night drives. The stock ones just didn’t cut it, especially in winter. Definitely worth looking into if you ask me!

I have a 2013 F150, and I recently upgraded my headlights to LED ones. The difference is night and day! They provide way better visibility at night, especially here in Oregon’s foggy weather. Totally worth it if you’re considering an upgrade. Really brightens up the road!
I ve gotta say, living in the Pacific Northwest, upgraded headlights for my 2013 F150 have made a HUGE difference. The stock ones just weren’t cutting it in the rain. Def recommend an upgrade if you’re still running the originals!
