Are there any lightweight civic rims that enhance handling?

Are there any lightweight civic rims that enhance handling?

So, last summer I decided to swap out my stock rims for some lighter ones. Man, what a difference it made. I felt like I was driving a go-kart instead of my Civic. But, you know, I didn’t realize how much weight mattered till I did it.

I went with some cheap aluminum ones that were almost half the weight of the stock rims. And I was just grinning like a kid in a candy store on those twisty roads. Have you guys done something similar?

I’ve heard some fancy names being thrown around like Kosei or Enkei. Are those the real deal? Or is it just hype?

Anyway, I just wanna know if any of you have found rims that not just look good but actually help with handling too. Would love to hear your stories or suggestions.

so I ve been using some lightweight rims on my civic out here in Cali

the difference in handling is like night and day

you can turn tight corners with ease

I got some alloys that are super light

best decision ever for my weekend drives

I’ve been running Rota slipstreams on my Civic in Toronto and wow they’re super lightweight. Totally changes the handling feel especially in corners.

But I’ve heard some people say they bend easily so it’s a bit of a gamble.

Still can’t help but love how they look and perform on my hatch. Just makes everything feel more connected.
