Are ford f150 lift kits easy to install by myself?

so, I’ve done a couple of lift kits on my F150 and let me tell you, it’s not rocket science. But it ain’t a walk in the park either. I remember the first time I tried it, I thought I’d just pop a few bolts and boom, instant monster truck. turns out, I ended up spending a whole Saturday wrestling with my jack and wondering why my torque wrench looked like a medieval weapon.

it’s way easier with a buddy, tho. I mean, one guy’s got to hold the parts while the other fumbles with tools. have you ever tried lifting a 100-pound spring by yourself? pain in the back. you think it’s a good idea to tackle it solo?

Living in Colorado I’ve seen a ton of F150s lifted around here I tried doing it myself once. My buddy and I ended up fighting with the instructions for hours. I thought it would be easy but it definitely turned into a whole weekend project.

If you have the right tools and some patience you’ll probably be fine but don’t expect it to go smoothly. It’s a good way to learn.
