2015 f150 how to adjust parking brake properly?
so the other day, i was parked on a hill, right? and my truck started rolling a bit. freaked me out. i thought my parking brake was working, but clearly, it wasn’t. thought to myself, “this can’t happen again.”
i decided to figure it out. first, i looked under the truck and found the adjuster. man, it was a bit dirty, no surprise. then i twisted it, but it felt like i was turning a stubborn jar lid that just wouldn’t budge.
but then, after some wiggling, i got it adjusted. and guess what? now it actually holds! so, did i do it right? or was i just lucky? can anyone share their experience on this? i mean, it’s kinda funny thinking about it now. i just don’t wanna be the guy who rolls down the hill again. how often do you guys check yours?
